At Oak Creek Conservancy, we are dedicated to protecting our environment through restoring an oak woodland, environmental research, demonstration of energy-efficient construction, education and recreation.

About Us

The Forest
The conservancy is 36 acres being restored as an oak woodland. It is located in the foothills of the Pacific Coast Range on the western margin of Oregon’s Willamette Valley.

The Facility
The main structure is a highly-energy efficient, airtight, fire resistant “Passiv Haus.

The Flowers
More than 2000 daffodil bulbs have been planted to provide beauty without the worry of being eaten by deer.

The Vineyard
2024 Pinot Noir Harvest
A small, fenced area has ~100 grape vines and newly-planted Espalier-pruned cherry and apple trees.
